The Woodgate Easter Hunt for kids is Saturday, April 4, 10:30–noon, at 2951 Huntington Drive (Layla Swisher) and 1649 Hedgefield (Jay Kelly). This year includes a few extras, including coffee for parents.

This is Woodgate’s Springtime Tallahassee - Saturday, May 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fieldstone Lane in front of Kathy Hood’s home, 3109 Fieldstone. Free hamburgers and other treats. Live music and live model trains. Local dignitaries and Woodgate vendor sponsors.

hot-weather event for the Woodgate neighborhood.
Annual Neighborhood Garage Sale
Neighborhood Garage Sales, Saturday, August 15, 8 a.m. to noon. The Woodgate Neighborhood Association organizes and promotes this annual event. Any Woodgate resident can sell their extra or unneeded stuff. Put out a garage sale sign in your yard and watch customers roll in. More than 20 Woodgate homes participated in the neighborhood garage sales last year. Neighbors reported robust customer interest.

O Gauge Model Trains with a Christmas/Winter Holidays Tilt.
Winter Holiday Model Trains/WNA Nonperishable Food Drive, Saturday, November 21, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sam Miller & Linda Medlin’s home, 3008 Stillwood Court. Last year, model train enthusiasts were asked to bring nonperishable food items as part of Woodgate’s annual food drive. It was a big success, and we are doing that again this year.
Woodgate’s Christmas Holiday Lighting Contest
Christmas Holiday Lighting Contest - Woodgate’s Christmas Holiday Lighting Contest is on Thursday, December 10. Judging is from 6 to 7 p.m. Decorate your home, and you are automatically entered. Look for a “Yard of the Season” sign in the winner’s yard the next morning.

Scheduled highlights include the election of Woodgate Neighborhood Association officers for 2026, recognition of Woodgate Neighbors of the Year, and an open forum for residents. Learn to Make Star Parol Christmas Lanterns
Learn to make star parol Christmas lanterns – one to keep and one for the December 18 Lanterns Display and Lofty Pursuits Community Band. The workshop is Saturday, December 6, at 10 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. at Sherri Taylor’s home, 1609 Hedgefield Court. The garage is Sherri’s winter workshop.
