Hello Everyone - Update for today’s event

The rain has come and is supposed to last all day. The Lofty Pursuits Band would not be able to come. Sherri Taylor has decided to cancel tonight's event.

This is unfortunate, but understandable, President Matt Schreck says.

Thanks to Sherri and others for their hard work getting things ready. The new lanterns will be stored until next year.

Join us at the Thomasville Road pocket park to display our community star parol Christmas lanterns and enjoy the Lofty Pursuits Community Band. Neighbors walk to the front island to hang the star parols, which Sherri Taylor will have on hand. Hot chocolate, cider, and goodies await you. The Lofty Pursuits Community Band will begin playing around 6:30 p.m. Please bring blankets, folding chairs, and flashlights. It gets dark early.
